My Mom is starting her own business.

My Mom is finally starting to get her mind back and she is realizing she needs something to do before she goes absolutely off the deep end. So I have been talking to her for several months trying to figure out what she really wants to do. She had a small Home Cleaning business back the the mid to late 80's and loved it. She always talks about it, so she has decided that she wants to do this again and I told her I would help her. I will assure you she is very good and has a very "Attention to Detail" way of cleaning houses because she is the one who does my own house. So enough from me, the remainder of this web page is from my Mom. If you have a need for such a service or know of someone give her the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

Welcome to Mom's World

As many of you may know I have been sort of out of the loop, from Pauli's and life in general. Every since Bob, my husband of 30+ years, was diagnosed with terminal Lung and Brain Cancer 3+ years ago I walked away from Pauli's and my life to take care of him.

Paul, Bob, Tricia and I worked closely together every since Pauli's inception in 1998 until the time I walked away. It has been very difficult to walk back into "Pauli's World" after Bob died in February 2006 from his horrible disease. Though it must be said "I loved and still do everyone so much," but when I walked out of the Wine Shop in the fall of 2004----- I never looked back. Bob needed me so I went to help him.

I'll tell you, when the Wine Cellar(formerly Pauli's Gourmet Food & Wine Co.) had their fire last month(February 2008); as bad as that was for the current owners to experience, for me it was an EMOTIONALLY FREEING life experience.

I had tried so many times to walk into the Wine Store but every time I did in my mind's eye I could always see Bob in there working. Therefore, as I said as bad as the fire was for all involved, for me it's sort of like ---- I'm ready for the next step in my life.

As anyone knows after this kind of thing happens in your life and you are not involved in daily interaction with people, you sort of lose a lot of brain power plus a lot of other stuff. Perhaps I am the only one this happened to after an experience like this----- but I don't think so.  (Some of you may know my father died the day after Bob so this was twice as difficult a time in my life)



Now with all that being said, I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE for all the help and cards and encouragement and just HUGS over the last couple years. My family, our staff, everyone but most of all my CHILDREN, all 5 of them greatly appreciate your kindness. Paul has been trying very gently to coach me out of my hole during the last year.

I have tried a couple of different things but nothing has felt comfortable. However, I've been thinking about ONE THING for a long time. My MIND is not in the same place it was several months ago, which was all fuzzy.
 
I know now what I must do. I need to do something but it must be something I can do "MINDLESSLY."

Therefore, I AM STARTING A HOME CLEANING SERVICE. I've got 50 years experience at this---and I LOVE a clean house. So, this is me throwing my hat back into the ring and standing ready to help anyone who :
DOES NOT ENJOY CLEANING (as I do)

Ala Carte Cleaning Service

When we start a NEW service, we will do a deep cleaning that includes such things as cleaning blinds and inside Windows. In General, a DEEP Cleaning. After the Intial Cleaning will will keep the HOME cleaned to the intial cleaning level. (Bi-Weekly or Weekly Service Only)

We offer a Weekly, Bi-Weekly or Monthly Service.

Basic Service Provided

Vacuum all carpeted areas and rugs.

Clean ALL Hardwood Floors

Clean All Mirrors and Glass Doors

Wipe down and clean all kitchen surfaces

Clean garbage disposal- You have the Lemon/Limes/Oranges your choice, and I'll make your disposal smell clean.

Clean All Bathrooms: FLoors, Tubs, Sinks and Toliets

Change Bed Linens and make all beds(You leave out which linens go back on bed)
